Lyophyllum connatum (Schum. ex Fr.) Sing. syn. Clitocybe connata (Schum ex Fr.) Gillet Weisser Rasling White Domecap. Cap 3–7cm across, pure white, margin often wavy. Stem 30–60 x 8–15mm, tapering towards the base, white. Flesh white. Gills slightly decurrent, white. Spore print white. Spores 6–7 x 3.5–4um. Flesh and gills gradually turn violet with FeSO4. Habitat in dense tufts amongst grass in mixed woodland. Season autumn. Uncommon. Edibility unknown. Found In Europe this species is a European species that I am reporting for the first time from Colorado. |
